Nintendo Direct June 2026: Every Major Game Announcemt Coming Up

Nintendo packed its June 2026 Direct with one of the largest lineups in recent memory, showcasing first-party exclusives, major third-party ports, surprise remakes, and brand-new franchises headed to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. From the long-rumored return of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time to the reveal of Kingdom Hearts IV and Xenoblade Genesis, Nintendo made it clear that the Switch 2’s future is stacked with games across every genre.

Rhythm Heaven Groove returns the beloved rhythm series with more than 80 musical challenges, multiplayer modes, and a brand-new Beatspell mode. The game launches July 2 and is playable on both Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword brings Capcom’s samurai franchise to Nintendo Switch 2 with motion-controlled swordplay, a dark fantasy version of Kyoto, and intense action combat. The game launches Sept. 25.

Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen is an expanded version of Capcom’s action RPG, adding a new region, enemies, and equipment while bringing the experience to Nintendo Switch 2 on Oct. 9.

Stellar Blade makes the jump to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, allowing players to experience Shift Up’s sci-fi action adventure on Nintendo’s newest platform.

Orbitals is a retro anime-inspired co-op adventure focused on teamwork and communication. Players will work together to survive the dangerous Storm Wall when it launches Sept. 3.

Rayman Legends Retold reimagines Ubisoft’s acclaimed platformer with new visuals, story content, and multiplayer options. The remake arrives Oct. 1.

Big Walk is a cooperative multiplayer adventure from the creators of Untitled Goose Game. Built around exploration and communication, the title launches Aug. 4.

One Piece: Grand Gourmet takes the Straw Hat Pirates in an unexpected direction with a restaurant management simulator where players build a floating restaurant and serve customers across the Grand Line.

Pokémon Pokopia receives a major free update introducing underwater exploration, while a new Expansion Pass adds additional areas, Pokémon, outfits, and customization options.

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave continues Nintendo’s tactical RPG franchise with a new cast of heroes, turn-based combat, and a tournament-focused story. The game launches Sept. 17.

Ninjala 2: The Uncharted Planet expands the franchise into an open-world action adventure. The first chapter of the story arrives in Spring 2027.

DK Challenge is a limited-time Nintendo Switch Online event that tasks players with completing challenges across classic Donkey Kong games to earn collectible rewards.

Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton combines the world of the popular anime with gameplay inspired by Vampire Survivors. Players battle waves of cursed spirits while competing against rivals online.

Lords of the Fallen II brings dark fantasy action RPG combat to Nintendo Switch 2 later this fall.

Lies of P: Complete Edition includes the acclaimed soulslike adventure along with the Overture expansion in one package when it launches Aug. 6.

Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition arrives June 23, bringing Dante, Nero, Vergil, and the series’ signature stylish combat to Nintendo Switch 2.

Muramasa: Revenant Blades revives the classic action RPG with updated visuals, new content, and multiple playable protagonists. The game is scheduled for 2027.

Xenoblade Chronicles 1, 2, and 3 are all receiving enhanced Nintendo Switch 2 Editions featuring improved visuals and additional features designed for the new hardware.

Xenoblade Genesis was one of the Direct’s biggest surprises, serving as an entirely new beginning for Monolith Soft’s acclaimed RPG franchise. The game is currently planned for 2027.

Nintendo Switch Sports Resort returns players to Wuhu Island with new and returning sports, motion controls, and online multiplayer support.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds combines survival crafting and RPG progression in a new adventure set within the RuneScape universe.

Hello Kitty Party Land brings more than 140 Sanrio characters together in a multiplayer party game filled with mini-games and customization options.

Star Fox marks the return of Fox McCloud in a complete reimagining of Star Fox 64. The game features updated visuals, fully voiced dialogue, online multiplayer, and launches June 25.

Final Fantasy Resonance is a brand-new HD-2D RPG that celebrates the Final Fantasy franchise while introducing an original story and turn-based combat system.

Pikuniku 2 expands the quirky indie universe into a larger 3D adventure filled with puzzles, humor, and exploration.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World continues Square Enix’s monster-collecting RPG series with hundreds of creatures to recruit, train, and combine.

The Duskbloods is FromSoftware’s upcoming multiplayer action title focused on supernatural powers, PvPvE combat, and online battles. Nintendo also announced a closed network test coming later this year.

Splatoon Raiders expands the Splatoon universe with a single-player treasure-hunting adventure starring Deep Cut. The game launches July 23 and will receive its own dedicated Direct presentation.

Deltarune Chapter 5 continues Toby Fox’s beloved RPG series and arrives as a free update on June 24.

Metaphor: ReFantazio from Atlus brings its award-winning fantasy RPG to Nintendo Switch 2 on Nov. 12.

Minecraft arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 with enhanced visuals, improved performance, and support for the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack.

Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & The Guide of Memories continues the long-running Atelier franchise with open-world exploration and alchemy-driven gameplay.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 brings large-scale sci-fi action and Tyranid battles to Nintendo Switch 2 this holiday season.

Observer: System Redux arrives on June 18, bringing its cyberpunk horror experience to Nintendo’s latest platform.

DayZ Cool Edition delivers the open-world survival experience to Switch 2 later this year.

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 launches Aug. 27 and includes Metal Gear Solid 4 and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker among its offerings.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration shadow-dropped during the Direct and is available now on Nintendo Switch 2.

Tales of Eternia Remastered brings the classic RPG to modern audiences on Oct. 16.

SnowRunner also launched immediately following the presentation, bringing its off-road simulation gameplay to Switch 2.

Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition arrives July 16 with new workout features and expanded multiplayer support.

Everbloom is a cozy farming and life simulation game scheduled for Spring 2027.

Final Fantasy XIV Online finally comes to Nintendo hardware, with early access beginning this August for Switch 2 owners.

With major exclusives, beloved remakes, and strong third-party support, Nintendo’s June 2026 Direct demonstrated that Switch 2 is quickly building one of the strongest software lineups in the company’s history.
